- The HP1206 connector is engineered for the automotive sector, supporting low voltage applications (12-24VDC) up to 10 amps. While it is generally considered compatible with wire gauges up to 14AWG, we advise using wires no thicker than 16AWG for optimal performance. To use, simply encircle the existing and new wires, then compress. The connector pierces the insulation to establish contact without harming the conductor, ensuring full insulation upon installation.
