- The 138L Slim-Line Double Door Fridge/Freezer GH1662 features fully adjustable and removable shelves. Its slim-line design, combined with a steel cabinet and door, provides the appearance and functionality of a conventional fridge while ensuring easy passage through doorways. This unit is ideal for off-grid tiny houses, backyard cabins, or studios without mains power, and is not intended for mobile use. Compatible with 12 or 24-volt systems, it includes a three-stage low-battery cut-out to protect against battery damage. Additional features include a conventional dial temperature control, a reliable LG compressor, and low energy consumption. High-density foam insulation allows the fridge to maintain temperatures as low as -20°C. The durable steel finish of the cabinet and door mimics a traditional domestic fridge. The unit comes with a hard-wired power lead that connects to a supplied Merits socket, which can be directly wired into a 12 or 24-volt electrical system.
