(LS)SIMPLECOM SA101 MSATA TO 7MM 2.5' SATA CONVERTER ENCLOSURE ALUMINIUM
Code: 8047984 Brand: Simplecom
You've got an mSATA SSD sitting in a drawer because your laptop's slot is the only place it fits. Or you pulled one out of an old tablet and want to use it as a proper 2.5-inch drive.
The Simplecom SA101 does exactly that. Drop your 30×50mm mSATA SSD into this aluminium enclosure and it becomes a standard 7mm 2.5 SATA drive. Slot it into a desktop, a laptop bay, or a 2.5 USB enclosure — same speed, same read/write performance, just the right interface.
The aluminium shell keeps things cool under load and gives your SSD a bit more physical protection than a bare chip on a circuit board.
One thing to check before you buy: this is mSATA only. If your drive is mPCIe or PATA Mini PCI-E, it won't fit. Measure first, order second — saves you the return trip.
Twenty units in stock. Grab one and get that SSD working where it actually needs to be.
