You need a tiny, no-fuss amp for a speaker project, a classroom signaller, or a bench experiment. You don't want a brick of electronics or a three-day wait from a marketplace that'll look into it.
This kit is 56 mm long by 16 mm wide. That's it. All the circuitry for a 1 W amplifier lives on that little board.
Runs off 6–9 V DC, takes a 50 mV input, and drives an 8 ohm speaker across 20 Hz to 25 kHz. If you want a volume knob, wire in a 10 k?–100 k? logarithmic potentiometer (not included) on the optional pad.
The kit comes with the PCB and every electronic component you need to solder it up. A suitable power supply is extra – MP-3146 works well.
Build it in minutes, plug in a speaker, and you've got clean 1 W of audio without hunting down a pre-built module at three times the price.
